You ever have some days where you feel heavy? Not like "ate too much at the buffet" heavy, but like worn out and worn down emotionally to the point that your heart is just heavy? I started out Monday feeling like a real rockstar, and then it pretty much fell apart from there. But isn't that the way life goes? How do we react when things don't go our way or when our lives are disrupted? This episode is all about practicing self-control when you really just want to punch somebody, and also taking advantage of opportunities that God gives us to live our lives in a way that honors Him. It gets a little church-y, but my hope is that the take-away is there for anyone who listens. Lastly, I had an ugly cry melt-down Monday night and had to really seek forgiveness after acknowledging that I was not being content in my circumstances and was not opening my eyes to all the blessings around me.
