Another sad week in Trew to the Game. Chris kicks off the show by apologizing for the lateness of this weeks show I, the producer also apologize, it s my fault as well . Chris depression from last weeks game reached epic proportions. This was only compounded by Chris viewing Kevin Costner s film "Draft Day" which is something that no one should be subjected to. But fear not, nothing can keep Chris down, and he ends with some inspirational wisdom.

As Terp and Chris Carrington dry their tears after the Saints loss to the Falcons, they decide to look on the brighter side of the week at another football opener. Chris and Crappinton went to the first game at Tulane s, brand spanking new Yulman Stadium. Our dynamic duo talk about the delicious food, the exciting atmosphere, and how with a few simple jukes, you could easily run onto the feild. Carrington also examines the interesting fan culture of Tulane, and the mystery of their incomprehensible chant. And even though the game ended in a loss for Tulane, Chris and Chris still see the stadium as something that will only help grow NOLA sports culture both in the city and beyond.

You see, James s is sports allegiance is seen as a little unconventional by most of society, James lives and works in New Orleans and is a fan of NOLA s teams, but there s something you wouldn t know about James just by looking at him. James was born in Denver. So, being a Dever native, James is also a Broncos fan and we re going to find out what it s like to have more than one team in your life. Everyone knows that New Orleans is a city of magic and mystery, but our voodoo hasn t affected the sports world on a national scale, until now. Everyone was surprised by Lebron s move back to Cleveland, everyone except Chris Trew, James Hamilton, and a magical vending machine. Outside of the Smoothie King Center a sprite machine has stood, unchanged through all the renovations, and plastered with the image of Lebron James, wearing a Cavaliers jersey Oh how the masses laughed at the machine, "Don t they know he plays for Miami now " Shout the slack jawed yokels, all while the machine sits silently, hiding a knowing grin. You can try and go see this magical Sprite machine, but when you get to the Smoothie King Center don t be surprised if a wizened old man tells you "that sprite machine burned down fifty years ago."
