Retired Lieutenant Colonel, Ken Hein, knows a thing or two about conflict. After having spent 41 years in the U.S. Army in command and staff positions and active-duty National Guard and Reserves, surviving one tour of duty during the Vietnam War, and wrestling with alcoholism, God finally got to him.

Despite getting saved at age 12, Ken had an "in and out" relationship with God. And just a few hours away from making the biggest mistake of his life at the age of 40, the Holy Spirit spoke to he in a way that he needed to hear.

In the 36 years subsequent to that experience, Ken is a living testament to the transformative power God can have on people who are willing to listen, who are willing to surrender, and who are willing to be obedient.

The inspiration for this podcast came on Saturday, February 11th, 2023.

My wife and I were relaxing and it was as if God "downloaded" the idea to me and I have been overwhelmingly inspired to get the show off the ground. Going forward, this podcast will feature guests - strong, principled, Christ-following men - that will share their stories about how God has showed up in their lives.

For this episode, I wanted to share my story and discuss ways God has shown up in my life. And despite the "on again, off again" relationship I've had with God throughout my life, He kept nagging and the last 10-15 years have been nothing short of transformative. I hope you enjoy it.
