As we are now rediscovering within the context of a baseball season, there is no such thing as zero risk when it comes to COVID-19. The Philadelphia Phillies found that out the hard way.



By last Sunday, the Miami Marlins had learned of four positive tests. Yet a game was played. Monday, it was reported that nearly a dozen more Marlins had tested positive. Two days after that, the virus hit the Phillies. First their visiting clubhouse attendant and then a coach and one other staff member. Citizens Bank Park is now shut down and the Phillies will miss at least a week of games. Now what? Phillies broadcaster Tom McCarthy helps us figure that out.
