Multi-genre songstress, vocalist and producer Sôra has released her most ambitious output to date, "Number One"EP, on 23rd November via Colligence Records. Her riveting debut single, "Sakura", was premiered via Kaltblut Magazinewith the next intoxicating single "Lifestorm" which was also released via French music and fashion label Kitsuné premiered by Clash Magazine. Nearthe end of 2017, Sôra collaborated with established Parisian electronic producer Uppermost providing exquisite vocals for his hit single "Step By Step", which saw inspiring support from various publications such as PAPER Magazine and Magnetic Magas well as Youtube channels Tasty, Chill Masters and Wobblecraft after receiving just under 1 Million hits via various streaming platforms.
Daughter of a British mother and a French father, Sôra devoted herself to music and arts since she was a child; playing the piano, singing and dancing. With her distinctive, powerful yet velvetine voice now in full flare, she then went on to perform on collaborations with different musicians and producers. Sôra is widely influenced by a wide array of genres, including jazz, rock, and soul and is now comfortably surrounded by her creative and productive teams; Colligence Records and Complice Music, where she takes up management, publishing and label affiliation duties.
Influenced by a plethora of sounds, techniques and artistic visions, Sôra takes direct inspiration from acclaimed artists such as Erykah Badu, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Hiatus Kayiote, and Kendrick Lamar, although her music could be best comparable to similar-sounding artists and acts like FKA Twigs,CocoRosie,Tove Lo and My Brightest Diamond, just to name a few.
Sôra's latest enthralling output, Number OneEP spawns four seductive, engaging tracks; "Lifestorm", a hypnotic electro-pop shiver bubbling to the brim with celestial sounds and synthesizers, while "Number Won"is a heartfelt ballad covered in immersive percussive bliss as start/stop synths sit atmospherically against Sôra's strong, light-emitting vocal presentation. "Sakura"is boldly held together by deep, smooth basslines, unpredictable percussive hooks and genre-bent spoken word or hip-hop infused sections all while spilling vulnerable yet confrontational lyrics atop energetic builds. The closer, titled "The Grit" is a refreshing, yet slightly darkened composition to say the least; haunting chord progressions and utterly solid production techniques tug on vulnerable heartstrings as Sôra'simpressive vocal range shifts us through unexplored dimensions and other-worldly galaxies.
Speaking on the upcoming EP, Sôra comments:"This first EP was such a pleasure to record! My partner and I hardly knew each other when we started working together. The way we did it was, I composed and wrote at home and then came to the studio to put everything together and push the songs to the next level with my wonderful partner. We kind of started getting to know each other through this EP and we are really happy!"

This time around YesYouhave teamed up with one of the most powerful voices yet, in UK's OFEI."Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime" is an expressive portal into the minds and pyches of the duo; crisp and smooth vocals shape the intro, leading to a trip-hop-esque beat blossoming into a seasonal indie-hit complete with immersive atmospheres and deep, moving basslines upon a truly inspired sentiment. Originally written three years ago, the collaboration started after YesYou stumbled on OFEIvia his youtube channel where he'd covered the song. The music video for "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime"is an elegantly simple yet powerful series of visuals that follows a protagonist walking down a deserted road in the countryside; we don't know where he is walking to, but his pure tenacity and drive creates visceral emotions for the viewer. Paired with the ernest refrain of "change your heart" and the cathartic images of flames and the wide open sky, the video flawlessly matches the mesmerising atmosphere of YesYou's new track.
Commenting on the collaboration, YesYou state: "OFEI's voice is not one you can easily pass over. Once you've heard it you don't forget it". The duo also reflects that, "We've been focusing our efforts on conveying an emotion in what we do more so than ever before. We're finding vocalists we love and letting the music write itself".

Drawing inspiration from Bon Iver, John Mayer, The Lumineers, Daughter and RYX, AVEC'ssound could be best likened to artists such as Lucy Rose or Courtney Barnett, for her thought-provoking and emotive songwriting skills. Dealing with difficult life experiences and expressing her true feelings through music - this is AVEC'stherapeutic outlet - an outlet that not only guides herself, but guides others too. Writing straight from the depths of her string-plucked heart, the intense and significant connotations in her lyrics juxtapose the gentle strumming of her guitar. Lyrics are the key component in AVEC'smusic - she shares her stories and experiences by giving herself the creative power to portray waking life and emotions through sound and reflection.
AVEC's latest single "Under Water", receiving an edit from the likes of Nico Rebscher(Henry Green, Alice Merton) is an emotive, lyrical cascade backed with plucked guitars, melodious pianos and AVEC'ssignature silken vocal approach until a bounceable, steady-beat laden atmosphere bursts into spirited rhythm and melody before repeating the mantra "Let go.. Let go..". Commenting on the latest single,AVEC states, "I think the song 'Under Water' is the most honest one I've ever written so far. The line "breathing underwater" perfectly describes the pain and the struggle of being honest with yourself and being honest with everybody else. It hurts, and you might hurt people by being honest, but it's the only way to keep on going; to get through whatever you're dealing with - be honest, stay honest and be true to yourself, otherwise those feelings and thoughts will eat up your mind!"
Speaking on the music video, she adds,"When I first saw the video for 'Under Water' - filled with so many emotions and despair, I got goosebumps all over my body, because it just moved me so much, I can't even describe it. I love it, I love the whole idea of it and I absolutely love the scenes they shot underwater - she is such an amazing actress!"

Hailing from the unassuming town of Cheltenham, Indie-pop trio CAEZAR released their brand new single 'Take Me There' on 16th November, taken off their much-anticipated debut EP'HAIL!' released via RG Records on 30th November. This new single is the last cut taken from their upcoming EP and follows on from singles 'Somewhere New',which was aired as a BBC Introducingexclusive, CAEZAR's previous single, 'Waiting', which was featured on popular UK show ITV This Morning and 'Hold On', whichwas premiered by CLASH Magazine. Playing alongside giant names such as Hozier, James Bay and Jack Garrett, CAEZARcan really hold their own in the scene and have had the pleasure of playing at the award-winning independent Barn on the Farm Festivalas well as being featured on the acclaimed radio platform BBC Music Introducing. The 'HAIL!' EP boasts mastering by mastering engineer Stuart Hawkes(Amy Winehouse, Clean Bandit, Rudimental) and produced by Justin Broad(Jessie J, Emeli Sandé, Izzy Bizu, Corinne Bailey Rae).
The two founding members of CAEZAR, Chris Quigley and Rich Gillsdecided to take their passion for music to the next level when the pair found themselves both suffering from sports injuries that meant they would no longer be able to play rugby for their local club. It was under the lights of the rugby pitch where the two ex-players decided that they would take their previously hidden musical talents to the stage. When Zoe joined the band in 2017, the trio really found their niche. Her soft synths and sweet-as-honey backing vocals helped build on the unique crossover of pop, indie and rock elements that make up the band's special sound.
CAEZAR's new single 'Take Me There'is an indie-pop ballad with a difference; featuring soaring harmonies from both Chris and Zoe in the infectious chorus, the piece is unabashedly vulnerable and simultaneously uplifting. A beautifully introspective track, the lyrics ask something that many can relate to, "Trust me I can fight / These demons inside", speaking to the struggle we all face with our inner selves. Pairing this poignant and hopeful message with CAEZAR's signature sound that combines skillfully-played live instruments and expertly produced electronic beats with strong, melodic lead vocals, the band manages to create something undeniably unique, that will certainly touch any that hear it.
On their new single release, CAEZARcomment, "A recurring theme throughout this EP is 'movement'. Whether it's excitement, remorse or anticipation - Take Me There is the final expression of this movement - the longing for escape. It's easy to become faded by the weight of day-to-day life, so we wanted to write about the inspiration and hope of striving for something better. The vocal samples and irregular dream beat provides a haunting melody which acts as the perfect crescendo for this journey and for this EP."
Hail! EP:1. Waiting 2. Hold On 3. Somewhere New 4. Take Me There

Canadian indie-rockers Tokyo Police Clubhave released their first album in four years, 'TPC' viaDine Alone Records. The celebrated Canadian outfit has garnered support from a myriad of tastemaker publications such as Pitchfork, Billboard, Huffington Post, NPR, Noisey, Clash Music, Paste Magazine and Consequence of Soundas well as BBC Radio 1presenter Zane Lowe,BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart and Alice Levine, BBC Radio 6's Steve Lamacq andShaun Keaveny and The Late Show with David Letterman. On top of this, the quartet has played hundreds of venues, including massively acclaimed festivals Glastonbury Festival, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot, Reading and Leeds Festival, Roskilde Festival, Rock am Ring, and Bonnaroo. In 2012, the band joined indie legends Foster the Peopleon the North American portion of their album tour along with songstress Kimbra.
Tokyo Police Club wrote their brand new album, 'TPC', in a beautiful old church in rural Ontario, staying together and working on the songs while bonding in the countryside. When the songs were done, the band went out to Los Angeles and recorded them up in the California sunshine with Rob Schnapf, who also produced Tokyo Police Club's 2010 LP 'Champ', as well as many other seminal music releases, including albums by Elliot Smith, The Vines, FIDLAR and Beck.
Tokyo Police Club have come back with a renewed energy for 'TPC', pulsing with equal parts attitude and sensitivity. From anthemic numbers like 'DLTFWYH'and 'Hercules'to honest self-reflections in 'Simple Dude' and the poignant 'One Of These Days', this band is showcasing its maturity and undeniable skill like never before, presenting a mature album that is honest, raw and fun its core. With a renewed energy and a can-do attitude, Tokyo Police Club showcase the new skin they're in with 'TPC'. The brand new video release for 'Simple Dude'hits the nail on the head when it comes to the soul-searching nature of Tokyo Police Club's new album; created using film negatives shot by bassist and vocalist Dave Monks during the recording of the new album, lyrics and imagery were then scratched directly into the film negatives and then animated by talented videographer Anne Douris. The result is a simple yet powerful series of visuals tinged with nostalgia, centred on feelings of intimacy and closeness, which we all need and sometimes long for; "My hands, your hands, I've been feeling lonely. Your touch, my touch, I feel the rush. And I've been waiting for it!"
The release of Tokyo Police Club's'TPC' album will mark an important moment for this group of musicians, as it almost never came to fruition. Tokyo Police Club drummer Greg Alsop explains, "The feeling that we were so close to breaking up gave us the freedom to enjoy each other more, to enjoy making music together ... If we're not doing it for the sake of being a successful band, but just trying to make an album we're happy with, it takes the pressure off. The expectation was just that we'd do something that would make us happy." In the midst of a near-disbanding, David Monksmanaged to convince the rest of the band that they should not go out without a fight, and not without taking the time to write new music and, importantly, to really enjoy the process. "I think there's a lot more optimism and a lot less confusion now," says Monks. "That's why we called the record 'TPC'. It was a whole process of looking at the band and deciding what it is. There's an excitement and optimism. Let's just let it exist."

With elements of Tuff Jam era garage, Jungle and 88-92 classic hardcore, Eyes of March is the anthem you've been waiting for!"

Natalise + the Sunset Run is a pop/alternative band, radiating a magnetic softness with EP Glimpses of the Sun and the brand new single "The Lucky Ones"
Natalise's musical and artistic journey has taken a variety of adventurous paths. Beginning with piano lessons at the age of three, dance at seven, singing in the church choir at eight, she then auditioned and began training at the renown San Francisco Conservatory of Music at age 11, where she began her journey to become an accomplished classically trained pianist and vocalist. Natalise, however, soon found greatest solace and inspiration in writing her own songs on the piano.
While attending Stanford University (from which she graduated in three years with high honors) she simultaneously recorded and released a solo album on her own independent label which became a hit on San Francisco radio.
Thereafter, Natalise formed her band Natalise + the Sunset Run and has performed at over 150 venues all over the world, including the famed Viper Room, the House of Blues, and The Hotel Cafe, as well as colleges like Columbia, Stanford, and UCLA. In 2016 Cherrill was approached and encouraged by (famed Philly Soul producer) Butch Ingram to record a solo album entitled, "I'm Doing Fine". Cherrill's voice had grown stronger over the years and found her in top form as she performed some of her favorite pop hits from a wide array of artists and styles.
Hot on the heels on that successful endeavor, Cherrill returns to put her own unique stamp on two timeless classics – 'O Holy Night' and 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' – to make the holiday season even happier.
Cherrill Rae is a dynamic personality with a bigger-than-life stage persona. She began her professional singing career at the age of 18. She was signed by A&M records in 1980 and had a hit single with a remake of the old Doris Day song "Que Sera Sera". It was arranged with a percussive Latin beat and killer vocals. It climbed to number one on the Canadian top 40 and stayed there for ten consecutive weeks. After that came a succession of hits from her second album, Dancing up a Storm.
"Dancing up a Storm" became a top 40 success in the United States as well as Canada and Europe. The number-one single off that album "A Little Lovin'" went top ten in Cash Box, Billboard Magazine, Record World and Rolling Stone Magazine.
CBC then offered her a five year contract to star in her own weekly variety television show called "The Raes" which aired for four consecutive seasons. Cherrill has appeared on all the major American Talk Shows including Jay Leno, Johnny Carson, American Bandstand and Soul Train. She has traveled the world and performed in every major venue from The Copa Cabana to Las Vegas to London and Hong Kong and most everywhere in between. She continues to entertain aboard the World's biggest cruise ships, theatre and night clubs.
Today, Cherrill's stage show today is a combination of some real good music, a lot of funny stories delivered with precise comedic timing based on her own true life history.
