Kelly Jo began her career in entertainment behind the scenes as a Grip on mainstream and pornographic films.[3][4] It led her to getting onscreen acting roles in film and television.[3][4]

In 1982, Minter portrayed Angela in an episode of the third season of Fame called "Break Dance". In 1984, she portrayed Carla in the television short The Pilot. In 1985, Minter made her film acting debut as the prostitute Lorrie in the drama film Mask.[5] She starred alongside Cher, Sam Elliott, and Eric Stoltz. The film earned positive reviews[6] and was a financial success.[7] The same year, she portrayed Kelly on an episode of the television series T.J. Hooker called "Street Bait" and Rachel Torres in the television film Badge of the Assassin.

In 1986, Minter portrayed Toni in the television film Charley Hannah and Vicky in an episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color called "The Deacon Street Deer". In 1987, Minter portrayed Kathy in an episode of Hill Street Blues called "It Ain't Over Till It's Over" and Denise Green in the comedy film Summer School. The same year, Minter portrayed Maria in Joel Schumacher's cult horror comedy film The Lost Boys. She subsequently portrayed Treena Lester in The Principal. The following year, she portrayed Charlotta in Steve De Jarnatt's apocalyptic thriller Miracle Mile and Charisse in two episodes of the television series A Different World.

In 1989, Minter portrayed Yvonne Miller in Stephen Hopkins' fantasy horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. She starred alongside Lisa Wilcox as Alice Johnson and Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. The same year, she portrayed Loret in the film Cat Chaser. The following year, Minter was cast as LaDonna in Reginald Hudlin's comedy film House Party. In 1991, she portrayed a recovering drug addict in New Jack City, Cheryl in Popcorn, Mulready in Doc Hollywood, and Ruby Williams in Wes Craven's The People Under the Stairs. The same year, she had guest appearances on a variety of television series such as Father Dowling Mysteries, WIOU, and Sibs.

In 1992, Minter portrayed Sharonda in the television film Murder Without Motive: The Edmund Perry Story. The following year, she portrayed Joanna in the film Sunset Grill and Rhodesia in an episode of Martin. In 1994, she was cast in the television film Cosmic Slop. In 1996, she portrayed a hooker in The Rich Man's Wife, a crack mom in an episode of ER, and Rita in the television film A Face to Die For. The following year, she portrayed Chrissie Brooks in Dead Men Can't Dance.

In 2001, Minter starred in the television film Stranger Inside and had a guest appearance in the televisions series Providence. The following year, she portrayed Vielle Montoya in an episode of Strong Medicine. In 2003, she portrayed Angie in the film Tapped Out. In 2008, she portrayed Karen in an episode of Zoey 101. In 2010, Minter appeared as herself in the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. In 2012, she appeared as herself in the documentary After the Violence.

Linda McQueen discusses her experience as a flight attendant and being severely burned on the job. She also describes the "out of body" experience she had that encouraged her to start her foundation and the fight she had trying to get back to work with her scars.

ABOUT LINDA:

Linda McQueen, founder and chief executive officer of the Heartburn (fire) foundation. A Georgia based non-profit organization, 501c3, whose mission is to support needy families who have been burned out of their residence, and do not have insurance. We are a recovery organization providing direct assistance to burn and fire survivors in need of food, clothing, temporary shelter, rehabilitative counseling, and relocation services.

On June 10, 1972 my life totally changed. At the age of 22, I was burned beyond recognition; I feared I would never be the same again to experience life, as I knew it. It took a total of five years for my total healing. I knew I had to do something to thank God for his healing so I started the foundation to help others who had been burned, or in a fire.

Their mission at the Heart-Burn foundation is to address these needs as we assist families with their recovery. She has been featured on T.B.N. Christian stations Celebrate Life, taking a break with Joni Lamb, Josyln Dorsey, Channel 2, Fox 5, Clayton County News Daily, V103 People station with Wanda Smith.

ABOUT JOSHUA

Character Designer - Creator

Born in Miami, Florida to a Military family. His passion for drawing was first noticed and evident at a very young age. His artistic abilities and skills, were head turning as early as grade school. Now currently at Netflix Animation, he always had a love and appreciation for animation. It inspired him to pursue his passion, graduating with a college degree in Animation. The accomplishment was not an easy undertaking, he went from being a homeless, hurricane Katrina victim, to graduating at the top of his class maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Her currently resides in Atlanta, GA, and plans to create compelling characters that are diverse, inclusive, and that drive the story. He’s the creator of the highly anticipated cartoon, Team Supreme. The cartoon puts kids who have a special need, and or disability in the forefront, as their so-called disability doubles as their super power. “My goal is to normalize what society calls a disability, while also being inclusive and diverse as possible. He continues to expand his knowledge, skills, and abilities; and has created and developed character designs for: Sony Immersive Studios, Netflix Animation, Nickelodeon, Baobab Studios, Drake, BearBack, Dymelyfe, Black Skullz, and more. Whenever he has time, he works out at his local gym. A former four sport athlete who had scholarships to play at D-1 schools, staying healthy, and spending time with his daughter is very important to him.

Furthermore, Marck oversees staff development and trainings, creates and maintains community partnerships, and increases productivity while containing costs. At McKinley, he has shown success by increasing graduation rates, decreasing negative behaviors within the school, raising teacher expectations, providing instructional focus to schools, and increasing parental involvement. In addition, he has experience at both elementary and secondary levels in developing and implementing policies, initiatives, and systems to continually boost efficiency and performance.

Marck is the CEO and founder of MEA Consulting, LLC. MEA offers real estate management, educational lectures, workshops, training, and personal coaching. Marck is an educator, transformational leader, instructional leader, administrator, motivational speaker, and educational consultant. Additionally, he has experience speaking on radio shows, at schools, churches, conferences, and many community-based organizations.

Marck’s school has been recognized as a NYS Black Male Graduation Rate Model School and NYS CTE Model School. He was named Principal of the Year in 2018  and established the first Buffalo Urban Teacher Academy.

Marck is of Haitian descent and he grew up in Miami, Florida. He moved to Buffalo on a football scholarship while seeking to play Division IA football. Taking the discipline and work ethic from the field to the classroom, he developed a passion for education and felt compelled to impact young men after his two close friends were killed. He is also a loving father who values faith and family. Marck enjoys reading, music, lifting weights, and traveling. He is a big guy in stature with an even bigger personality, a commanding force both physically and inspirationally. He also strongly believes that “When wishing won’t, work will,” and his favorite Nelson Mandela quote is: “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.”

Dr. Johnson began his career as an alternative education teacher, since that time Dr. Johnson has worked in a wide range of leadership positions in education for over 20 years.  He has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, a Master of Science degree in Public Administration & Public Policy and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy & Evaluation.

Dr. Johnson has served as Provost, Chief Academic Officer, and Vice President for Partnerships, Dean, Career and Technical Education Director, Chief for State-Managed Schools, Associate Director, Senior Director of Programs and Training, Assistant Vice-President and Chief Academic Officer, interim Deputy Assistant Superintendent, Associate Dean, Senior Education Consultant, Executive Director and Chief of School Supports, Field Experience Coordinator, Turnaround High School Principal, Pre-Service Teacher Education Coordinator, Principal and Executive Director of Community-Based Programs. Alternative Education Teacher, and High School Intervention Teacher among other roles.

He has classroom-based experiences and educational leadership. Additionally, he taught in the Colleges of Education and School of Arts & Sciences at Florida State University, Florida A&M University, George Washington University, Barry University, Strayer University and Westwood College. He has successfully administered programs in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Illinois, and South Carolina. His primary areas of professional interests include urban school-turnaround strategies, African-American male achievement, supports of first-generation college students, and urban school fiscal stewardship and capacity.
