Today I’m talking about why I’ve totally changed how and why I wear my Apple Watch.
I got my watch 3.5 years ago and from the moment it arrived, I wore it everyday, all day.
I loved seeing the data around movement and it felt so convenient and easy to have text messages show up on my wrist. I (mistakenly) thought it would keep me off of my phone.
And yet over time, I started to notice a shift in how I was relying on it. That at some point, the information it was providing was no longer benefitting me, and was even becoming problematic.
Beyond that I knew the watch was constantly pulling me out of the present moment. And it hit a breaking point which I talk through in detail in this episode.
There is a HUGE crossover between what I’ve experienced with the watch and with food. Because when you learn how to trust yourself around food it impacts many other parts of your life, in a very positive way. You begin to see all the other places where you rely on external rules and validation instead of your own innate wisdom and knowledge.
It just takes time to see it and be ready to take action on it.
