Am I introverted? Am i just socially awkward? Or is it mental illness? Love this game. I have no clue what is compelling me to post this right now. Also I am not trying to guilt anyone into pitying me. Or trying to gain sympathy. I feel guilty for even mentioning that. I’m absolutely fine, it just gets a little lonely sometimes

This week, i take a break from being sad. I’ve been reading a lot of books recently, and I wanted to talk about them, because the lives of fictional characters are much more exciting than my own. No notable spoilers to be worried about.

Welcome to the first episode of Ivy's Imagination! I'm so glad you're here. Today, I will answer the question: Why I dropped out of school. I also touch on the feelings insinuated by this decision, like shame, guilt and jealousy. I am still working on a lot of these emotions right now. Below is an overview of my podcast, because I feel like in this episode my thoughts are a little all over the place. This is probably the episode with the heaviest/ most sensitive content. I know that this subject can be triggering for many people, so if it is the case, I STRONGLY advise you AGAINST listening. Basically, I start at the very beginning, discussing how my ED arose, my hunger, the impacts on my physical/mental health, and my recovery. This is only my experience. Everyone's journey is different, so it is hard to compare. If you are struggling with body image as well, I completely feel for you. Just a reminder that you are beautiful, and please be kind to yourself. I am working on that myself too. This episode was tricky to record if I’m being completely honest.

Especially in episode 3 and 4, I pull from a lot of my experiences involving other people, so its difficult to establish how open I should be discussing these situations. This episode is really about the 3 major takeaways I learned on campus last semester, regarding friendships, relationships, and situationships. I don’t know what else I can say without giving everything away. Basically, I care a lot about what other people think about me, and that has caused me a lot of self-inflicted emotional pain. Today, I talk about why I hate tinder. It was an interesting experience filled only with happiness, laughter and love. Obviously.

I go over my experiences on the app, and how it influenced my perception of love and sex. So evidently, there will be explicit content. I talk about the importance of consent, hookup culture, the feelings of love, and getting over someone.

Why did I care about grades and about getting into university? What do I want to do with my life? My brain went down that rabbit hole so I decided to share some of the conclusions with you.
