Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students need to be ready to welcome a mentor, if one appears, as they follow their chosen pathway to achieving their goal.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students must seek out and connect with their peers at school in order to receive the help and support they need as they follow the pathway that leads them to their goal, even in the face of COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that, in the time of COVID-19, people resist change.  In order to strengthen our bodies and minds, we must embrace new habits.  Join a gym to strengthen your body.  Join school to strengthen your mind.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students must learn how to depend on their "natural resources" of resilience, persistence, and grit in order to achieve the goals that they set for themselves even in the face of COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students are missing their high school environment.  They must mourn this loss, adapt to the current situation, and continue to strengthen body, mind, and spirit, in order to prepare for the opportunities that will follow COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students must continue to prepare their bodies, minds, and spirits for the future.  They will become stronger.  They will turn their dreams into reality. They will become passionate about achieving their goals.  They will choose pathways and identify a clear ways forward in spite of COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students must determine how they want to present themselves.  The process of figuring out which presentation works best can still go on even in the midst of COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students need to make up their minds to master their own environment, so that they are ready to step up when the world moves beyond COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that high school students strengthen their spirits through encounters with other people in the high school environment.  This ability to encounter others has been disrupted by COVID-19.

Joe-Brown's informed opinion is that the job of the high school student is to prepare for their future.  This vital preparation has been disrupted by COVID-19.
