As the sun sets on this victorious day, I know the celebrations will last long into the night, and the days or months, or even years to come. But, with this new and huge void, I fear that another force will try to fill what has been destroyed.

My father is no longer with us; he risked his life for mine, but at what cost? I grew up being told he died many years ago, before I was born. I was told my mother died in childbirth, and that I know is true. But what other lies have I been told. But I must not dwell on those. I must be here with my sister, with my friends, to celebrate this momentous day. A victory so many have fought for. A victory so many have died for. And I and thankful for every one of them.

Tonight, on this moon, among these these trees, I celebrate with many, for a life that we thought would never happen.

I will play a big role in new world, I can sense it.

Bro tried to jump me, thinking he was slick with it; but I caught him lackin mid jump. Thought he could beat me with my own move, huh, try again... never.

He was my brother, we were chill, until he came to place. Had to take my jacket off and show him who's boss. Now he's quite toasty.

I was not about to join him in his delusional world. I know where my loyalties lie.

He advanced quickly over the last few years, but his pride made him fall twice as far.

Standing over him, I grieve for what was, what is, and what could've been.

He was the chosen, but there is a new hope.

Yes we do live.

Out here on the fringes of society; where the water is dry, the sand is, and the wind was. We walk to there, we sit by the way, the suns beats us by night, and stars laugh at us all day. The moon is no longer in the sky, it sits beside us around our fire at night, cause it too, is scared of the suns. Our stuff was lost to sand crawlers in a bet. We have none, we had some, we shall be once more. Maybe.

But for now we are here.

Here on this planet were there is no forgiveness. Where those who wonder get lost. Where the lost are forgotten by all, except the suns. Like two eyes watching and waiting for our demise, they glare.

Do not lose hope, for we are... we were.... wait no... uhh.. . . .
