Jack shares how themes of truth, consequences, and accountability prompted him to write his latest political thriller. He discusses how he felt a calling to serve his country, and later to become an author. He explains how he borrowed from experiences in his own life, as well as current events and politics, to craft the stories that he does.

Later, he stresses the importance of revisiting events in history to better understand our freedoms.
