The Minnesota Twins open a 3-game weekend series against the Kansas City Royals, after losing 6-5 against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday.

The Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors announced high school football and volleyball will move to the spring for the 2020-21 school year on Tuesday.

The board approved to have girls tennis, cross country, girls swimming and diving, boys and girls soccer this fall.

Moorhead head football coach Kevin Feeney goes over the past 24 hours and how they'll plan for a spring season with Jack Michaels. 

Football and volleyball would have their season from mid-March to Mid-May and can hold practices during the fall.

The Big 12 will play 9 conference games and 1 non-conference game this season. 

The Wildcats are scheduled to host Buffalo on September 5, the University of North Dakota on September 12 and Vanderbilt on September 19. 

Vanderbilt plays in the Southeastern Conference and the SEC will play a conference only schedule, so that leaves Buffalo or UND as an option for the one non conference game.
