  • Emerging Artist Series 13: Jagertown
“Line ‘em up, shoot ‘em down. There’s a party going on in Jagertown” - are the opening lyrics of “Jagertown,” self-titled first album and the title track released nearly ten years ago. This lyric had become synonymous with the band as their popularity grew across the West.

With the release of their second album, "Love On the Radio" they found their fan base rapidly growing and extending from California to South Dakota driven by amazing country festivals. Jagertown’s high-energy show, well-crafted originals, and a sound that the country scene hasn’t had in a decade delivers on the promise that there will be a party going on with Jagertown’s on stage.
The release of “Sleepin’ with My Boots On,” the band's third album, elevating them to key support positions at many festivals and headlining special events around the country.
Now with the release of “Small Town Superstars,” their fourth studio effort, Jagertown’s fans, the “Jager Nation,” continue to grow.  Supporting their success and their latest charting single, “She Won’t Be Lonely,” Jagertown has expanded their “That’s Why I Drink” tour to include venues and festivals from Coast to Coast.

  • 10/13/17 Bernie Chiaravalle - Guitarist with Michael McDonald
Since 1988, Marin County singer-songwriter Bernie Chiaravalle has been touring the world playing guitar with five-time Grammy winner Michael McDonald.  During those years, Chiaravalle has co-written and recorded with McDonald, co-writing four tracks on his superb 2000 release Blue Obsession, as well as co-producing it.  They have written over two dozen songs together.  Bernie also has a song on the legendary Judy Collins duets album Strangers Again.  The wonderful “Miracle River” was written by Bernie, Amy Holland and John Goodwin and performed as a duet between Judy Collins and Mike McDonald.
Bernie’s musical style encompasses many influences from The Beatles to Stephen Stills to Todd Rundgren and others.  But he really has distilled those influences down into his own thing.  Many of his songs have a cinematic quality that suggests visuals to go along with the music.
While holding down Mike McDonald’s guitar chair for the past 29 years, which is practically forever in the notoriously mercurial music business, Bernie Chiaravalle has amassed his own fine body of solo work.
The self-penned Make Some Sense of This is his eighth solo record, coming just a year after his well-received One Bright Moment.  Here, he flawlessly handles all vocals and instruments.

  • Feast + Fusion with CAB: Guitarist Julian Coryell (Son of Larry Coryell)
Julian Coryell began playing the guitar at the tender age of five, and quickly exhibited a natural talent for the instrument (and other instruments as well – piano, bass, and drums to name a few). Son of famed guitarist Larry Coryell, Julian’s musical gifts were nourished and he began writing music at a young age. The Coryell household was never lacking in musical visitors, and Julian was exposed to everyone from Miles Davis to James Taylor, each adding to the mix of influences from which Julian is inspired. Julian entered Berklee college of Music at 16 years old and was the youngest graduate a few years later when he was 18 years old. Since then, he has toured and recorded with numerous platinum artists and has released his own solo records on Universal, Sony, and GRP. Since his early years in Berklee College, Julian has been recording his own music as well as other artists – back then at a self-built 8 track studio in Boston's gritty industrial district, and now at a professional, state of the art beach side recording studio he co-owns in Venice, California.
