    DIABETES COSTS - About 1 in 10 people have diabetes nationwide with another 96 million adults who have prediabetes, according to the CDC. Lawmakers say the medical condition is also getting more expensive to management because of the high price of medications. The American Diabetes Association says the price of insulin has nearly tripled in the past decade, going from less than $100 for an average vial in 2009 to nearly $300 for the same vial today. During a recent congressional hearing, lawmakers examine the economic impact of diabetes and what can be done to address the causes of it. We break down some of the contributing factors and how this may impact your health.

    Alexus updates the story of Anthony Ball's death Saturday, following some erratic behavior including use of a firearm. A .40 firearm was recovered from the scene. Once in police custody, JFRD says Ball suffered a medical emergency, and his health declined as he was transported to the hospital, where he was later declared dead. No word yet as to what caused the erratic behavior or the rapid decline in his health.

    Alexus reports on the death of a man Saturday after being taken into JSO custody. Officers were called on reports that Anthony Ball was walking around a Mandarin neighborhood acting erratic, threatening neighbors, and firing a weapon in the air. He slumped over in the police car shortly after he was taken into custody, and his health declined during transport to the hospital where he was declared dead.
