Jacqueline Wilson is a hero to generations of kids and adults alike.

The fans have been so inspirational for me. I find it so touching. One young lad wrote to me, clearly believing Tracy to be real and said could I please marry her when they grow up. I thought that was so sweet and wonderful!

She joined Weekend Breakfast and told Alison Curtis all about her new book (the 112th!! Wow!)  called The Runaway Girls , the success and 30th anniversary of her most celebrated work Tracy Beaker and creating brand new legions of fans with her new take featuring Tracy's own daughter, she also spoke about the difficulties of Lockdown for so many of her peers, and of course her loving Irish fans!
