This story is written by one of the recent Punjabi writer that is Bhupinder Singh who is popular for many of his Punjabi stories. Times have changed so is every relationship that is there around us. Modernization has strengthened our life expectancy but weakened our soft emotions. Traditional families have been transformed into nuclear families and search of opportunities has propelled the children to stray far away from their parents and their roots.  

This story is about the time which has been lost. Mother is living at the village and she is expecting her son to come back and meet. She is living with the hope to rejoice whenever she sits near her son again who is currently settled a modern city life.
