What if you were actually in the REAL bank robbery from the film “DOG DAY AFTERNOON” and as part of dealing with the PTSD of that situation, you wrote and had recorded a song called “Lollypops and Shotguns (A Hostage’s Lament” and offered it to the producers of the film? This is something that actually happened. I have been unable to find the song in full on the Internet… so I tracked it down and you’ll hear it here first!

Also, did anyone stop to think this this week about the time BOYCE AND HART were on “I DREAM OF JEANNIE” with PHIL SPECTOR? No, you probably didn’t. WELL, I DID!
