We talk about how much the world has stayed the same over the years and what's really going on. We discuss gifts and how they come in different sizes. Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio where he was a student and graduate of THE Rayen High School. He later studied music at YSU with Dana School of Music. With skills for several instruments under his belt Alex has been most successful on the drums. Starting at a young age he would learn some skills from his big brother and start is career playing in church. Alex's family has a long history with music so being a part of his family legacy has meant the world to him. He has also added to the legacy a couple kids of his own ( Twin Boys). We discuss fatherhood and how being a new dad changed his life. Alex has played with/or behind multi Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Awarded artists. He's recorded over 30 live and studio recordings, musically director over 30 shows. He has coordinated countless shows from audio engineering to musically producing and directing. Joshua is fresh off of the broadway national tour " Finding Neverland " and he is very excited to be back home on the main stage of The Youngstown Playhouse as Curtis Taylor Jr. in Dreamgirls which opens September 6! With so much to talk about we dive right into how he feels being in a community theatre show after he's been on tour, Broadway, and the Grammys. We discuss the expectations he has for himself and what everyone else around him expects of the superstar they view him to be, male body issues . We have a beautiful walk down memory lane as we discuss the legacy of Josh's father who would have been 70 years of age this year, and how life has been without him.
