God is faithful to His promises and His peoplebut we dont always feel that way. We can feel abandoned by God when our health is failing, our children are struggling, or our finances are collapsing. Circumstances that often drive people from God, should be seen as opportunities for us to draw near to Him. God orchestrates Josephs life to graciously save Jacobs family as He saves a people for Himself.

Genesis 41-46

Joseph's life is one of tremendous contrasts as he lives through betrayal, suffering, vindication and glory. Through it all he demonstrates faith in God. God is also shown faithful as he continues to fulfill his covenant to his people.

Jacob, Leah and Rachel had a compliated and tumultuous relationship, but out of it came the foundation of the nation Israel. In this chapter we see how Leah and Rachel came to see blessing in spite of bitterness.

Its easy to live in a place of doubt. To be uncertain of Gods promiseto be suspect of His character...to distrust His intentions. Yet there are moments when His promises seemed clearHis path for us secure and His character unquestionable. How do we remain unwavering and resolute in the moments of life where the sea of doubt is suffocating?
