In which we Xplore The New Mutants #35. The New Mutants return to the school to discover the Master of Magnetism has become the headmaster. As Magneto try’s to come to terms in his new role the students each struggle with how to accept the reformed villains tutelage. Illyana teaches Warlock about consuming food and how to talk to helicopters. Dani is attacked by frat boys. Magneto confronts The her assailants bring the house down around them. The team beings to trust their new teacher.

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #34. Warlocks prepared to stoke down Illyana. She convinces Warlock she has a plan. Illyana and Warlock teleport back in time discovering the history of entity that possesses Karma. Illyana and Warlock confront Karma or Amahl Farouk and rescue their friends.

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #33. Karma and her enthralled minions are confronted by Storm. Dani, Illyana and Warlock do battle to free their friends. Storm hints Karma is not the villain suggesting an older much more malevolent force is at work. (She is eluding to the Shadow King.) Illyana eventually turns Dani and Storm over to Karma. Warlock confronts Illyana as a traitor! Plus check out Mystic Arcana #1 for the details of Illyana and Dani working with Ashake.

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #32. Enter Leialoha! The New Mutants regroup to go after Karma. The first appearance of Madripoor an island nation in the Pacific. Teenage cocksure exuberance leads to most of the teams possession. It’s a flashback as Illyana and Dani teaming up to rescue their friends. Teleportation leads to further problems and future versions of the New Mutants suggest the rescue attempt will fail!! To be continued...

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #31. Roberto, and Amara fight the monstrous Rancor like creatures thats Kitty Pryde. The cavalry arrives by way of Cannonball, Magik and Rachel! The villain is revealed... I think we all know who.

My girlfriend is going into labor and I will be preoccupied this Wednesday so I will not be publishing the conclusion of Sienkiewicz run on the New Mutants issue #31. I will however return next week with the exciting conclusion!

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #30. Enter the Beyonder! Shadow Cat and Rachel Summers join Sam, Illyana and Dazzler as they attempt to rescue Roberto and Amara. Dazzler and Kitty infiltrate the Gladiators while Sam, Illyana and Rachel are forced to confront the Beyonder. Kitty and Dazzler confront a shadowy figure while Roberto and Amara are forced to do battle in the Arena!

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #29. Sam and Illyana chase kidnappers through the airport in their swimsuits. Illyana introduces one of the baddies to Sym and we see Guido Carosella for the first time. Enter Lila Cheney and Dazzler to aid Sam and Illyana. Roberto and Amara fight in the arena against for the Gladiators. Magneto takes the fight to the Beyond only after ripping the roof of the battle Arena!

In which we Xplore The New Mutants #28. Xavier and a handful of his students are still in David’s mind. Regrouping they confront the Jemail the telepathic youth trapped in David’s mind. Jack continues his manipulations. Magneto and Lee romance continues and Empath make further plans. Dani offers an imperfect solution in an effort to rescue her friends and mentors.
