We have been having trouble speaking English lately and this episode is no different. It starts early in this podcast but gets better as we warm up. Krash came out roaring in his first episode back! He loves his 20's music and it set us up for the rest of the podcast. We got into some good talks about the future of baskets and the future of handicapping in the sport. Double A has some great ideas for how to put together technology to help both clubs and their baskets along with the handicapping that is slowly changing in the sport. Disc golf has some major changes coming in the future years and our conversations have slowly shifted to how to make the sport better in the long term without losing new players. We sucked. The boys were tired and had some low energy, but still rallied as much as we could and got an hour in. Krash was feeling sick, so we decided to do a longer Shop Talk. Without Krash today though we were missing the energy that Wednesdays normally bring. However, it's really nice to have Sammy in the shop and all the insight he has to offer. He brings a quality perspective to our podcast. We will bring a better game on our next podcast. OTB Discs will be breaking a few records in 2020, that is a fact. We have some ideas for a handful of records to break and we will do our best to break them all. We get into which frisbee records we would like to break and briefly mention that we will be breaking the longest podcast episode ever also. We watched Brodie Smith and MKBHD break a few World Records and it inspired us to beat their records and a few other ones!! If you think there are any records for us to beat then let us know. In episode 4 of Shop Talk we get Sammy A talking a bit about form! Sammy has a lot of knowledge about how to get the body into position to throw and he will be giving lessons and advice under the name Disc Golf Guru. Feel free to hit him up on IG @discgolf_guru and ask any questions you have. We also revisited the idea of shrinking baskets to make it harder for the top pros. Tune in to more Shop Talk to get more in depth disc golf conversations. JWB will be more geared toward random comedy with a dash of disc golf. 

Computer problems happen, but when they happen in the middle of a podcast and you lose 45 minutes of recording, it really sucks. It was still a fun day with some good conversations. It was Sammy Sand Belly's first day in the shop and we had him dive in head first!! Sammy is a good friend of DC's and has lived in Florida for the past couple of years. We are happy to have him in the shop and to continue to grow the podcast, OTB, the Windjammers, and disc golf in a positive direction. We will hopefully improve in the future and cut down on the technical difficulties. Be prepared for plenty more podcasts involving Sammy and a lot of social media posts from him. OTB is gaining an employee!!! Our good friend Sammy A(@discgolf_guru) is moving back to the Central Valley from Florida to join us as part of the OTB crew. While he was on the last leg of the trip we decided to give him a call! Johnny 5x has been telling us to get Sammy on via the phone, so we made it happen just in the nick of time. Sam was driving through California and was only about an hour out when we called him. Sammy A and DC were World's Doubles Champions back in the day and we are stoked to have so many World Champions on the podcast!
