Part 1 of our interview with Avery Jenkins, 2009 World Champion. Avery is an advocate for disc golf and has been a part of the biggest moments of disc golf. One of the cool nuggets we learned in this interview is that he has been to every World Championship since 1991. The man is one of the most knowledge people still in the game due to how much he can relate to both the former era and the current era. He is a bridge of some sort to the modern era and he has so much to offer the sport. The man heads up the Discmania team and is an integral part of Disc Golf Park. Avery is still affecting the game with his course design and the Discmania Combine. The man has an eye for talent and will continue to impact the sport for years to come. Friend of the podcast Nate Perkins, is currently in the perfect disc golf haven during a world wide pandemic. He is kicking' it with Paige Pierce and Alyssa Van Lanen on an avocado/citrus farm with a disc golf course on site. They are hunkering down there during the time of social distancing until the tour starts back up. Nate talks about his journey form Taiwan to the US during the pandemic and how it has affected his day to day life. We had the man, the myth, the legend Tyler Brickley on with us over Zoom. We have video footage but to be honest the quality of our camera is trash and we are working on it. Tyler is the hilarious face of Disc Golf Comedy and is killing it with his work both there and with DGA. Tyler's claim to fame was sporting an Australian accent while covering some Central Coast footage. He has propelled that into a career in the sport and is making the most of it. OTB and Tyler started talking originally when the elusive Buffalo Fish was first mentioned on the platform we call Twitter.
