We are often told to Connect more than correcting our children. We also know that correcting our children for every other act of theirs can affect their confidence and also how comfortable they feel in our presence. But of course, there are situations where we need to correct and teach our children the right Adab and Akhlaaq. It’s a quintessential aspect of Tarbiyah. In today’s episode, we’re diving into a powerful lesson from the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on how to correct mistakes with wisdom and compassion.

When I started this coaching business, I had already learnt to tame my triggers and parent with patience. But, as my social media following increased and more clients came into my programs, as my business flourished by the grace of Allah, I began to become more stressed and impatient with my children
Clearly….. THIS wasnt right! While I was preaching about kindness and mercy in our dealings with our children, why was I not able to fully practice it with my own children at home.?
A vulnerable discussion for today, but a much needed one!

On todays’s episode, my special guest is Noor from Al Ansar Publishing. Al Ansar Publishing are a husband and wife team, blessed with three beautiful children, masha’Allah.
When they embraced Islam over ten years ago, they recognized the importance of relational repair, character reformation, and the continuous efforts required to maintain their integrity for the sake of Allah. Along this path, they embarked on a journey to cultivate emotional intelligence within themselves and their household, learning to navigate emotions and relationships with wisdom, compassion, empathy, and respect. They found these principles highlighted and reinforced in Allah’s Word and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).
They bring to you, "The Hayrack Ride" — a groundbreaking Islamic emotional intelligence curriculum designed specifically for children aged 5 and up. This curriculum offers a comprehensive perspective on emotions, providing healthy coping mechanisms and essential social skills, all rooted in Islamic teachings.
Listen to the episode, where Noor shares more about the “why” behind this curriculum and how it can benefit your Muslim Home inshaaAllah. They have also generously shared a free resource for our listeners- tune in and know how to get your access!!

Is it really possible to Homeschool your children effectively, cater to them all day and still not feel burnt out?
One of the biggest fears mums have when considering homeschooling is the lack of any time for themselves or their other chores. They fear being unable to keep up and ending up “messing” their kids’ education too.
In this episode of Jannah Beneath Her Feet, I invited over Meriem from Grow those Little Hands to address Homeschool Burn out and effective strategies to have it all without overwhelm.

For years, we have been hearing (atleast in Asian cultures) that you can’t have it all as a woman. If you focus on your career, your household will suffer and if you chose to stay at home , you will have to give up on your dreams.
But, today we have a different generation of mums that chose to stay at home whilst also pursuing their dreams - I am talking about Mompreneurs.
But is it easy to get actual work done whilst tending to ur family 24/7? How can we achieve more productivity?
We are going to answer those questions with our special guest Dr Asbah Shams - she is a productivity coach for Mumpreneurs and is excellent in her zone of work!

Arabic is the language that Allah chose to send the Quran in. And I am sure everyone of us non Arabic speakers has wished that we could effortlessly understand the Kalaam of Allah.
And while we put in our efforts to learn Arabic, we have young children who have so much potential for language learning that we want to harness so they can grow up fluent in the language of the Quran inshaaAllah.
In todays’s episode, I have a special guest, Hanae from the Arabic Nest, who is going to talk more about how we can teach Arabic to our children as non Arabic speakers.
