In his budget proposal, the Governor calls for a reduction in the financial assistance the State gives to localities known as AIM funding. Peter Baynes, Executive Director of the New York Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials, and Gerry Geist, Executive Director of the New York Association of Towns, explained how this will impact the services that localities offer across the state.
