Councillor John Joe Culloty told the recent Kerry County Council meeting he had a Japanese Knotweed tart recently and enjoyed it – suggesting there are other ways to deal with the invasive species.

Chef Damian Grey of Heron and Grey, Blackrock, Dublin also spoke about using Japanese Knotweed in recipes.
