Jared Bednar Avalanche Coach Show

A day late, but no dollars short whatsoever! Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar joined us this morning for his weekly appearance. Can Bedsie make sense of his team's back-to-back duds out east? What does he think of the accusations that his team is getting old and slow? How can his squad get right tomorrow night at home against Tampa?

Coach Bednar is brought to you by Mr. Rooter Plumbing, proudly rooting for Colorado’s hockey team!

Mackenzie Blackwood stood on his head, Nathan MacKinnon dropped the gloves again, and the Avalanche beat the Stars 3-2 in Dallas. What a night! Let's get Jared Bednar's thoughts on all of it as his squad prepares to host the Stars at Ball Arena tonight. Ain't no rest for the wicked.

Coach Bednar joins us every Wednesday morning (usually) at 8am MT, brought to you by Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Proudly rooting for Colorado’s hockey team!

The Avs are off to a hot start! They're averaging 7 goals a game in the young season. Can they keep their momentum rolling into the ice planet of Winnipeg tonight? Let's ask Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar himself.

Catch Bedsie every Wednesday at 8am MT with Moser, Lombardi and Kane. It's brought to you by Mr. Rooter Plumbing, proudly rooting for Colorado’s hockey team!

FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! Jared Bednar joined us fresh off his shiny new extenion. He'll remain Head Coach of the Avalanche for (at least) four more years.

Listen to Jared Bednar every Wednesday at 8am with Moser, Lombardi and Kane exclusively on Altitude Sports Radio.

How's Coach feeling before the Western Conference Final begins tonight? Will he give us a concrete injury update? Are his boys ready to roll?

Huge game 5 coming up tonight between the Avs and Wild. Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar joined us this morning to preview the action.
What did Coach think of the Manson - McCarron "butt ending" scuffle? How's Nathan MacKinnon doing after taking a puck in the schnozz last game? Why did Coach start Blackwood in net in Game 4 instead of going back to Wedgewood? Will Coach divulge any injury updates?

The Colorado Avalanche are 6-0 in the playoffs so far! 4 wins against the LA Kings, 2 wins against the Minnesota Wild (and counting). How's Coach Bednar feeling about his squad? What improvements did they make between Games 1 and 2 vs the Wild? It feels like the entire roster is stepping up, but in particular, who are the biggest difference-makers in these playoffs?

The Avalanche haven't played a game since Sunday and still don't have a second round opponent yet. What's Head Coach Jared Bednar been up to in his time off? Is he worried about the whole "Rust vs Rest" debate? How's Josh Manson healing up? What are the takeaways from the series vs LA that they can take into the next round?

Long time no talk! Jared Bednar joined the show again this morning. How's Bedsie feeling after last night's win? Will he continue to roll with the red-hot Wedgewood in net, or will he start to rotate goalies? How did he pass the time during the 20-minute glass break delay?

Coach Bednar is still recovering from that errant puck he took to the face, so we let him sleep in this morning. We also don't know if he can talk? How easy is it to talk with a broken face and a scratched cornea? Either way, he earned a day off.
No Moser, no Vic, no Bednar, no problem! The show must go on! Erik Johnson tapped in for the injured Coach and had a nice one-on-one chat with Kaner this morning.
