Episode #204.
Reflecting on a subject matter I have discussed on here before. My relationship to medications and how I see it in a loop that cannot be escaped. The more I entertain it the more it turns to blame. Sitting in blame for days and weeks and months then removes responsibility from my life and my recovery. I keep thinking the grass is greener on the other side but that other side never takes place because it would cost to much to get there( that is me writing this and not saying the cost part). Do you agree with this? Do you struggle with the same thing? Do you think alternative ways of treatment and coping skills would be valuable for you to learn? These are tough and complicated conversations.

This topic of addiction is near and dear to me because I struggle and in all honesty..I haven't been talking about it to much but some recent conversations in my life have prompted me to share and want to continue to share on this topic and how it relates to mental health and a diagnosis.
Episode #199. My website is down..will be fixing that asap. I talk more about acceptance and how it plays a role in mental health and diagnosis.

Episode #198. What is asking for help? How has asking for help changed over the years? How does the modern American culture promote independence and loneliness and how does that affect getting outside of 'YOU' to understand yourself better..and more...
Episode #197. If I cant' be honest and real with where I am at then the podcast can't go on. With some help from my friends I am coming to some conclusions about where I am at. The combination is how we get stuck and it also is how we come to recover and get hope. Thanks for tuning in. Please, let me know what you think of this episode. Do you resonate?

Episode #196. Its been over a month and some since I last published an episode. I quit the job at MCC and I talk some about the lessons I learned from working there. I have been in a hard spot and I hope you get somehing out of me sharing my struggles. I wonder about the future. What do you do when you want to hide? What does asking for help really look like? Addiction has been a huge part of my story and continues to impact me to this day. What did you think about this episode?
