This week, let's talk about MONEY. Especially growing up in Asian American, money was something I didn't know much about until I took it upon myself to not only create side hustles and get jobs against my traditional parents' wills but also took initiative to ask questions and educate myself.  It's kind of crazy to think about how everyone's concept of money is different due to their upbringing and environmental factors, but that shouldn't stop you from becoming less scared and learning more now!

Shweta and I reminisce about the good ole college days where we were able to go out and have some mediocre fun, even in the socially dead climate of UCI. We talk about frat parties, living together, having different outlooks and opinions on men, and debate on what to do when you know someone is cheating.

At this point, I've kind of given up on these descriptions lol but LET'S ALL STOP TO REFLECT on your own definitions of abg/abbs and how those understandings impact your self-image and relationships, or even how you approach people you don't know who may fall into this category even if "it's a compliment".  Branding ourselves in such a way perpetuates a society we continue to box ourselves in and where non-Asians can continue to box us too. I said what I said :/
