His military background includes critical leadership roles as a CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) Specialist, Hazmat Control Officer, and Communications NCOIC. His deployments to Iraq, Germany, and several U.S. bases established him as a key figure in both operational readiness and mentorship within intelligence and chemical defense units.
