True Prosperity – God’s Will Is For Us To Prosper In Every Area Of Our Lives

1. God Came To Give Us His Life (Zoe) Now And Forever

Jn 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him

Jn 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life (Zoe), and that they may have it more abundantly

● Abundance – Superabundance, excessive, overflowing, over and above, more than enough, and above the ordinary

2. True Prosperity Begins And Ends With A Personal Relationship With Him

Jer 29:11-13 I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart

Josh 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful

Matt 6:33 seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you

3. True Prosperity Includes A Blessed Family - Spouse And Children

Gen 12:3 in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Ps 128:2-4 blessings and prosperity will be yours.Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. this is the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.

Prov 18:22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord

Ps 115: 14 May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children

4. True Prosperity Includes Discovering Your Purposes In Life

Jer 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations

● God has a plan for your life, you’re here with and for a purpose
● Through your obedience you will live a fulfilled life and at the same time your gifts will help somebody live their best life

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable

Phil 3:12 I have not already obtained all this, or have already arrived but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me

5. True Prosperity Includes Physical And Mental Health

3 Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers

● Jesus suffered mentally and physically so we could be healed

Is 53:4 Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. 5 But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed so we could be healed

6. True Prosperity Includes Our Finances

Prov 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it

Deut 8:18 But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth

The Son Of Man - He Became One Of Us So We Could Become Like Him
1. He Became Unrighteous Like Me so I Could Become His Righteousness
2 Cor 5:17,20-21 If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have
passed away; behold, all things have become new 20 Now then, we
are representatives for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we
implore you on Christ’s behalf, be restored to God. 21 For He made Him who
knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God
in Him
● Righteousness – Being in right standing with (God)
● Jesus paid the price that we may have right standing with God
● When Gods sees you and me He sees Jesus, His righteousness
● The believer has been made the righteousness of God in Christ
Phil 3:9 Found in Him, not having my own righteousness, but that which
is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God
by faith
● Meditating on God’s word develops a righteousness mentality
Rom 12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God
transform you into a new person by changing the way you think
● Righteousness is not a conduct, it produces good conduct
● The believer no longer identifies with sin but with righteousness
1 Cor 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not
● Meditating on the flesh and failures will only develop a sinful mentality
that will eventually lead to more moral failure
● Meditating on the things of the spirit develops a righteous mentality
● If you have missed it quickly repent and receive forgiveness
● The devil wants to keep us ignorant and in bondage
1 Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
2. God’s Ears Are Open To The Prayers Of The Righteous
Col 1:22 Yet now he has restored you to himself through the death of Christ in
his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and
you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
(with no shame, guilt or condemnation)
Js 5:16 The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective
● God has already accepted Jesus sacrifice as a substitute for our sins
● We now have the ability to stand in the presence of God without a sense
of guilt, shame or condemnation
● Every child of God has the same standing with the Father, we have the
same right- standing that Jesus has with His Father right now
Eph 6:14 So stand firm and hold your ground, HAVING PUT ON THE
BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Jn 14:13 Whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you
● We ask for wisdom, direction, protection, provision with confidence
Heb 4:16 Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is,
the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that
we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in
time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]
● Through effective prayer God is able to work things out in our favor
Rom 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
● Let us stand in the gap of prayer for our families and the unsaved
Lk 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost

Building the House of Freedom
Ex 3:7-11 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people out of Egypt.

1. When the Spirit of Freedom Comes it Breaks the Spirit of Poverty

Is 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me to bring good news to the poor

2. When the Spirit of Freedom Comes it Heals Broken and Shattered Souls

Is 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me; to heal the brokenhearted

● Broken - crushed, to trample on, break in pieces, shatter, smash

3. When the Spirit of Freedom Comes it Breaks Bondages and Limitations

Is 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives

4. When the Spirit of Freedom Comes it Releases Supernatural Favor

Is 61:1 The Lord has anointed and commissioned me To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and retribution

● We don’t carry a victim mentality, we carry a favor mentality
● We declare everything Satan has stolen from our families is restored

Ex 3:21 (gwt) And I will give favor to this people, in the sight of the Egyptians: and when my people leave, they will not go empty-handed.

5. When the Spirit of Freedom Comes it Releases a Life of Joy and Praise

Is 61:1,3 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To comfort those who mourn, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of Depression (The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”)

Ps 126:1-3 When the Lord brought us back, it was like a dream!How we laughed and sang for joy. The other nations said, “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.”glorious things! What wonder! What joy!

6. Our Freedom Was Never Just About Us, But About Those it Would Reach

Is 61:3 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up and restore the former desolations; And they will renew the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

Phil 3:12 I press on, so I can lay hold of the reason Jesus laid hold of me.

Matt 10:8 Freely (freedom) you received, freely (freedom you) give.

Ezra 3:11 all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

Zack 8:9 The Lord Almighty says, “Get on with the job and finish it! You have been listening long enough! For since you began laying the foundation of the Temple, the prophets have been telling you about the blessings that await you when it’s finished.

● Were not just building any house were building the House of Freedom

2 Cor 3:17 the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit is, there is freedom.
