God’s Favor Rests Heavy On His Favorites
1. Let Them Shout for Joy and Be Glad Who Favor My Righteous Cause
Ps 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
● Favor my righteous cause - Those who delight in my prosperity
Ex 3:7-10 The Lord said, “I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Enemy and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of their enemies. And now the cry of my people has reached me, and I have seen the way the Enemy is oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the out of Bondage.”

2. Embrace The Heart of The Father to Bless and to Prosper His Servants
Ps 35:27 Let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
● Continually - constantly, ellipt (loop), regularly and sacrificially
● This is to be our declaration of faith at all times
● His Servants - To Make the choice to minister to, serve and to be
submitted to God’s Counsel, wisdom, decree and purposes
Ps 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth
Acts 13:22,36 I have found David a man after My own heart; he will do everything I want him to do, He served God’s purposes in his generation
Ex 9:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, “Let my people go, so that they may worship and serve me.”
● One of the reasons he set us free is to serve the purposes of heaven
Ps 18:19 He brought me out into a large and spacious place; He rescued me because He was pleased with me and delighted in me
● Large place - into a state of freedom, plenty, safety and comfort
Ps 31:8 You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place
Ps 66:12 We went through fire and water, but You brought us into
abundance (a wealthy place, satisfaction)
Is 62:4-5 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land
(building) Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah (My Delight is in Her) and your land Beulah (Married); for the Lord will take delight in you,and your land (building) will be married. As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you

Is 49:19 Even the most desolate parts of your abandoned land will soon be crowded with your people. And those who left you in ruins will be far removed from you
Is 43:1-5 (nlt) Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom. Others were given in exchange for you.I traded their lives for yours because you

● I’ve married God’s house and have committed my life to his cause

Praise Your Way Out 
1. Living a Lifestyle of Praise (Joy)

Neh 8:10 the joy of the lord is your strength

● Joy (praise) is a force, it’s not just an emotion
● Joy (praise) will help you stay strong when mountains don’t move immediately
● Joy (praise) undergirds your faith
● My joy (praise) cannot be based on my circumstances

Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always (Always is always)

Phil 1:19 And I’m going to keep that celebration going because I know how it’s going to turn out.

2. Praise Him for His Power and His Faithfulness

Rom 4:18-21 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Heb 11:11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Eph 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Deut 7:9 Keep in mind that the LORD your God is [the only] God. He is a faithful God, who keeps his promise and is merciful to thousands of generations of those who love him and obey his commands.

1 Thess 5:24 The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.

3. Don’t Get Sidetracked By Pressures or Problems #staysteadfast

Phil 4:12-13 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

● Paul’s joy was not based on his current circumstances
● Faith never pretends, were just not giving our focus to it 
● Outlast the enemy by thinking the right things
● Remember how God has helped you in the past

2 Cor 4:18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

2 Cor 4:8-9 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

4. Victory Is Already Yours – Believe it, Receive it, and Give God Praise

1 Cor 15:57-58 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Leave Lust Vegas And Step Into Your Calling

1. Lust is Enemy Number One of God’s Purposes and Plans for Our Lives

Jer 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jer 29:11 I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Gal 5:17 (nlt) The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is the opposite of what the Spirit wants. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions

Gal 5:18-23 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life (will not inherit the Kingdom of God)

2. Vision for Your Future is the Key to Living a Disciplined Life

Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision the people are unrestrained

2 Tim 2:19-22 “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from Sin.” In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself
pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the relationships of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts

Hab 2:1 Write the vision, make it plain so he who reads can run with it

Jug 16:19-21 After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids of his hair, and so they began to subdue him. And his strength left him. Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!” He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him. Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison

● Samson was called to bring freedom from the philistines
● Samson’s separated lifestyle qualified him to be used by God
● The deceptive nature of lust and sin – It will keep you longer then you want to stay and make you pay more than you wanted to pay
● Samson was full of potential and purpose but he lost his vision

3. If You Have Fallen Then Get Back Up, It’s Time to Get Your Vision Back

Jug 16:22,28-30 But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved. Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.

Phil 3:12-14 I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Leaving Lust Vegas

1. Yielding to Lust Becomes a Blessing Blocker

● Lust – a strong desire and intense craving for something
● Lust is not bad it’s actually a good thing if it’s for God's will
● Gratifying the sensual cravings, desiring the forbidden, Longing for evil, coveting what belongs to another, striving for things, persons, or experiences contrary to the will of God

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (let us walk in step with the Spirit)

2. Four Ways We Can Conquer The Lust of Our Flesh

A. Walk in The Spirit and in Step with The Spirit

Gal 5:16 Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh

Gal 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit

B. Don’t Give The Flesh a Place – Run if You Have To

Rom 13:13-14 Let us walk properly, not in wild parties Partying and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on Jesus Christ, and (make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts)

● The flesh is crazy, it wants to do what it wants when it wants

C. The Word, The Word, The Word – We Become What We Eat The Most

Ps 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you

● Two animals are going to fight which one will win

2 Pet 1:4 He's given us very great and precious promises, so that by these promises you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature

D. Knowing The Plans of God are a Major Key To Living a Disciplined Life

Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]

● Lust is enemy number one of God’s purposes and plans for our lives

Jer 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Built for battle – We are Called to Carry the Good News

Mk 6:15-16 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned

1. The Greater The Bad News, The Greater The Good News 

Lk 16:24,27 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.  “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment

Mk 9:48 Where the worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched

Lk 13:28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Matt 25:41 He will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the (eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels)

That’s what hell is a place with no God, no love, no mercy, no life
Hell was never meant for man it was created for Satan and demons

2. What’s the Good news, We Must Understand The Goodness Of God

Matt 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal

Universalism - if hell is so bad, how can a loving God send men to hell

Rom 6:23 For the wages (consequences) of sin is (eternal) death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord 

Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

He is so good that he sent himself and paid the awful price for sin

Matt 20:28 The Son of Man came to give his life as a payment for many

Matt 7:13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, its gate is wide for many choose that way

Rom 5:8-9 God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation (wrath)

Jn 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them

Jn 3:16-18 God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned  because he has not believed in the name of God's only Son

Jude 1:23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment

Prov 24:10-12 Rescue the perishing; don’t hesitate to step in and help. If you say, “Hey, that’s none of my business,” will that get you off the hook? Someone is watching you closely, you know Someone not impressed with weak excuses

1 Tim 1:15 He came into the world to save sinners, and I was the worst

Matt 9:12-13 “People who are well do not need a doctor. For I have not come to call good people. I have come to call those who are sinners
