Jax Gratton: The Unanswered Story

34-year-old Jax Gratton was a beloved Denver hairstylist, advocate, and proud trans woman who built a community around love, color, and compassion. In April 2025, she vanished after leaving her apartment with a man she knew. Fifty-two days later, her body was found wedged between two buildings off West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, Colorado — beneath the window of the same apartment where she was last seen alive.

The autopsy ruled her cause and manner of death undetermined. Her family, friends, and supporters are still searching for answers — and justice.
