Jay M from Bali, Indonesia has been walking on his path through recovery for the last 25 years. He had a transformative spiritual experience that brought him to the awareness of God at an early age, but then fell into the abyss of addiction, in a myriad of forms for decades. When he finally got clean and sober and found his way into the rooms of AA, NA, SLAA and CODA, he began to grow spiritually, but it wasn’t until he hit his third rock bottom and lost everything that he loved, that he was surrendered enough to dedicate his life to this journey of recovery. He was fortunate that God put David G from Oklahoma in his life, right at that moment, to show him the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous in a way that he never could have imagined. It was only then that the true promises and miracles of recovery began to manifest and be revealed in his life. He speaks on his slow walk with God and journey into recovery.
