Matt & Steve discuss what was a short week for games, and also somewhat quiet in terms of Blue Jays news. Also in the podcast, Matt agrees with Pat Tabler, the upcoming showdown in LA between the Dodgers and Padres (which was last night once this podcast goes live), and a brief note on therapy bunnies. And a short Brewers check-in.
In a pleasant change, this week we got some good news from the Injured List for the Blue Jays. Matt & Steve discuss a wide range of topics including Ryu's pitching pace, Vlad's first base stretches, players wearing their masks wrong on camera, Vlad's position in the batting order, and a quick check-in with the Brewers.
Also there's some talk about Brita filters and cheesecake.
It was a rough week for the Blue Jays as a team, but some individual players had great results - especially Vlad Guerrero, Jr. Matt & Steve discuss some of the injuries, and the general ups and downs of the team. They also check in with the Brewers to see how their "B" Team is doing.
After a successful first weekend for Major League Baseball (unless you're the Mets or Nationals), Matt and Steve have a quick look at what happened around the league and dig into the Toronto Blue Jays' first series win of the year vs the New York Yankees. That, and a new theme song! Sit back and enjoy as you prepare for the week ahead.
