Jazzpod 019 - Chris Retzer

Chris Retzer holds a residency at Slakthuset in Stockholm. It has become the rule rather than the exception for him to appear alongside acts such as Luke Slater, Rødhåd, Surgeon, Blawan, Marcel Fengler and Perc. Although you can hear the influence of these performers in the dramaturgy of his sets, expect to always find some odd techniques and mixes to make up his own sound.

Jazzpod 018 - Martinou

Deep sea-seated concrete solid.

Debuting in 2014 with the 'Needless / Procedure' single on own vinyl imprint Sewer Sender, Martinou is a new force of club pressure in Stockholm. With searing rhythms and frail synths echoing in claustrophobic reverberation, Martinou is leading his Sewer Sender crew into territories previously unheard of in Sweden. 2015 has already set out strong with performances at Sonár Stockholm and Under Bron amongst others. With sights set on releasing his next EP on sewer sender this coming fall/winter this Jazzpod gives a small look into some of the tracks to be released and what records are always packed in the Martinou-bag.

Noah Gibson is one Stockholm’s most frequent and respected DJs, much owing to his ability to present timeless records from the archives to the people. As organizer of the legendary underground club The Office, he early cemented his role as one of the most important names in the Stockholm techno scene. Few DJs can combine music from the past and present in the same way as Noah Gibson. Always optimized for the crowd and always with a smile.
