Celtics rolled the Wizards in one of their more complete games of the season. The offense was buzzing through this one and while JB (24pts) and Tatum (23pts) played really well and got the Celtics off to an amazing start, the rest of the team held their own and then some. Brogdon was exceptional in this one scoring 23pts along with 4ast. The Celtics came out firing and had a 34-15 lead after the first and but saw that dwindle down to just 11 by halftime. Brogdon single handedly changed the game in that third quarter by doing everything. He was driving hard, getting to the rim, hustling for loose balls and defending well. This was a masterclass and ballooned that lead back up to 20+ where it stayed for the majority of the second half.

Having that big of lead, gave the Celtics to do something they rarely do and give their starting 5 some time to rest. With an already depleted front court with no Timelord, we were still able to keep Horford to just 24 minutes thanks in large part to a great game from Grant but also some really solid minutes from Kornet. Kornet is nowhere near perfect but he has put together 2 fairly solid performances and seems to have moved over Vonleh in the depth chart. Out of the 79 field goal attempts for the Celtics 47 of them were 3pt attempts which is far too many BUT the Celtics shot 44.7% from 3 today so it worked. The big difference today was the quality of looks. We assisted on 29 of our 36 field goals which means we very rarely saw those iso stepback or pullups we're accustomed to seeing. There was a lot of driving and dishing creating high quality looks and it was a beautiful sight to see.
