Today is part 2 of our journey in Isaiah and unpacking the character of God.

Today we are looking at the AWESOMENESS of God.

We have lost the power and depth of the words we use to describe God and I believe we have lost hope for a better tomorrow because we have lost sight in who God is in His awesomeness and power.

In this message, we unpack Isaiah 40 as he describes the awesomeness of God, and we end with the personal nature of our awesome God.

We are excited to have Stephen Pohlmann from Riverside Community Church in the South of Johannesburg joining us online this morning and sharing about "Love Your Enemies" and what that looks like in the times we live with so many disagreements and issues all around us.

This week we end our slow walk through Psalms 23 and are looking at “We have enemies”.

Psalms 23 is not about overcoming enemies, it is not about destroying enemies, it is about being able to go into the presence of God regardless of opposition or hardship that we face.

The enemies are both external and internal, others and ourselves. We can be our own worst enemy with doubt and fear. How do we saturate ourselves in the presence and promises of God's word? In this message Pastor Bradley reminds us of the fundamental truths and promises of being valuable children of God.

In life, we tend to fear shadows, we tend to be overwhelmed by things. In this message we look at how Jesus had taken the sting out of death and that the valley of the shadow of death no longer has power over us.

Jesus says he is the light, he has come to set us free from shadows and the power they hold over us. Paul says wake up children of dark, you are now children of light.

As we continue in our series; "A slow walk through Psalms 23" we are looking at being led by the good shepherd and how that gives us hope and purpose each day.

In this message, we are looking at "HE leads me" and challenged to who is leading us, who is our guide and how do we get lead to green pastures and peace?

God's heart towards us is to love, care and restore us and not to punish and leave us.

During this time it becomes difficult to know how to lead our families and even lead ourselves. In this message, we will unpack what it looks like to Lead in love from the love we receive from God, the love we extend to ourselves and ultimately the love we extend to others.

We are starting a slow walk through psalms 23 and today we are looking at what it means to have God as our Shepherd and moving from an idea of faith to a living faith. We are challenged to trust in who God is and his way and provision for us despite how we feel and what we understand. We confess our need for God to shepherd us through this season, the need to humble ourselves before God and trust in his ability to provide for us.
