In this message we look at how we deal with loss in our lives, when things do not turn out how we have hoped or dreams or tragedy befalls us.

Very often we view repentance as punishment, but what we see from scripture is that it is a gift. A gift that brings us into the presence of God, reconnects us with each other and fills us with the peace of God. It does not take away our consequences but gives us hope through them.

It is resurrection Sunday! The Tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. God is faithful. God is good. Life gets a bit brighter for the disciples. They start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

My hope for all of us today is that the darkness that so often surrounds our lives and circumstances would lift through Christ this morning. That as we unpack what Christ has secured for us we would know the joy of being children of God.

Fear of the Lord is more than just an instruction that we better have awe of God because he is Holy and deserving of it. It is an unlocking of the Father's heart and disposition towards us.
