The Dutch crew expanded into two full sections with friends and family, while visitors from across Europe settled in for another Riviera sunset. As the atmosphere continued to build, Happy Hour naturally stretched beyond its usual finish, with deep house, soulful grooves, nu disco, and uplifting house carrying everyone a little further into the evening.

Clouds rolled in over Esterel Caravaning on Thursday evening, bringing a little drizzle and just enough rain to make everyone wonder if Happy Hour would end early. Between mixes, the mixer hid under its Decksaver and the laptop disappeared beneath a towel, but the music kept playing.

A huge French family abandoned the cooler bar downstairs and joined the rooftop, where toddlers danced, handed out high fives, and offered drinks to the DJ. The Dutch crew returned once again as the skies slowly cleared and the cooler air settled over the Mediterranean pines.

From soulful grooves and disco classics to deeper late-evening moments, this set carried the rooftop through an unusual summer evening and delivered a warm send-off to the Mamma Mia welcome show waiting downstairs.

Although the crowd was a bit smaller than the previous night's Bastille Day celebration, the atmosphere remained warm and intimate as friends and families settled in with rosé, beer, and another soundtrack for the French Riviera summer.

Nu Disco, House, and Funky House selections from JKriv, Kraak & Smaak, Miguel Alcobia, Tensnake, Vintage Culture, and Silicone Soul carried the terrace from golden hour into the evening. Familiar faces returned to their favorite tables while holidaymakers lingered long after the official end of Happy Hour.

With disco grooves, sunset guitars, and a touch of nostalgia floating through the warm Mediterranean air, it was another perfect summer evening above Saint-Raphaël.

Bastille Day brought another festive evening to the Esterel rooftop as friends and families gathered beneath the Mediterranean sky for cocktails, cold beer, and one more journey into sunset. Our now-familiar Dutch crew claimed their usual spot early and settled in for another evening of Deep House, House, and Nu Disco grooves.

Music from Miguel Migs, Sebb Junior, T.Markakis, Budakid, Dave Lee, and Emanuel Satie carried the terrace through golden hour as holidaymakers toasted another memorable summer night on the French Riviera.

With the football match and DJ Groovegarden waiting on the main stage downstairs, Happy Hour had strict orders to end at 8 PM. As the final notes of “Touch” faded out, the familiar roar of the jet FX signaled the end of one soundtrack and the beginning of the next chapter of Bastille Day celebrations.

Another beautiful evening on the Esterel rooftop brought a great atmosphere and a crowd ready to settle in for the long haul. One group of Dutch friends and family arrived early, claimed their spot overlooking the French Riviera, and stayed long after Happy Hour was supposed to end.

Description

Sunday brought an almost entirely new crowd to the Esterel rooftop. Early in the evening, the terrace filled with families enjoying another warm Riviera sunset while the younger guests turned the DJ booth into their own little classroom—asking questions about the headphones, the mixer, and exactly what a DJ does all night.

House, Nu Disco, and feel-good classics from Michael Jackson, Moloko, Claptone, Mousse T., Mark Knight, and Michael Gray kept the atmosphere lively as children danced and holidaymakers lingered over drinks. As the evening went on, guests gradually drifted downstairs for dinner and to secure good seats for the welcome show, bringing another Happy Hour gently to a close.

Another warm evening on the Esterel rooftop brought a lively crowd despite the summer heat. A welcome breeze drifted through the Mediterranean pines as holidaymakers settled in with cocktails and glasses of rosé, while familiar House, Deep House, Nu Disco, and Funky House grooves carried the sunset into the night.

From soulful classics and disco edits to modern house favorites, the music kept the terrace buzzing long after Happy Hour officially ended. It was the perfect send-off for the popular disco-funk DJ taking over the main stage downstairs, with guests lingering for one last drink beneath the Riviera sky.

What was supposed to be the closing stretch somehow turned into an encore. After The Cure & The Cause, Paroles paroles, and a brief pause in the music, the crowd wasn't ready to call it a night. One more round was ordered, one more track was requested, and Could You Be Loved became the unexpected finale—right up until the bar manager came running upstairs to remind everyone that Happy Hour had, in fact, ended.
