Dr. Chip Pollard has been the president of JBU since 2004. Before coming to JBU, he taught English at Calvin College and practiced law in Chicago.

Ray Wagoner

Ray Wagoner is Assistant Professor of Counseling in Graduate Counseling at JBU.

James Hawkins

 Dr. James Hawkins currently serves as a clinician at a non-profit counseling practice in Northwest Arkansas where he plays a pivotal role in facilitating mental health services and supervising clinical practices. He is the founder of Healing Conversations which is committed to fostering growth and understanding within the community around diversity issues. He is deeply involved in the practice of Emotional-Focused Therapy (EFT), and he co-hosts two podcasts, "The Leading Edge in Emotionally Focused Therapy" and "The Leading Edge: Transforming Leadership Through Attachment Science," where he shares his knowledge and insights on EFT and leadership development. In addition to his hands-on work and educational initiatives, Dr. Hawkins contributes to the online training program successinvulnerability.com. Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Hawkins is a devoted family man, married to Nicola, and they are proud parents to five daughters. He is a guest of the Center for Healthy Relationships.

Jesse Rudy is Founder and CEO of Redeem International. An attorney by training, Jesse spent 12 years with International Justice Mission, leading teams in Sri Lanka, Uganda, and the Philippines, before serving on IJM’s global leadership team in the United States. In February 2020, Jesse launched Redeem to protect the homes and land of the world’s most vulnerable widows and orphans. Jesse graduated from John Brown University ('99) and the University of Virginia School of Law. He lives just outside of Washington, D.C., with his wife Amy and their three children.

Robyn Stutts

Robyn Stutts has served with Young Life for more than 20 years, helping young people encounter the hope of Jesus. In 2008, she moved to Fayetteville to launch Young Life College at the University of Arkansas, and under her leadership, the ministry expanded to reach students and adolescents across multiple schools and communities in Arkansas. She now serves as Associate Regional Director, overseeing Young Life ministries statewide. She and her husband Gregg have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
