JD fell in love with Portugal, bought himself a house, applied for the D7… and got denied. He joins us from Portugal to tell us all about the appeals process. It’s unlike any episode we’ve ever done before!
Resources:
JD’s original application included 3 months of US bank statements, 2 months of PT bank statements (that was all he had at that point, and showed 8,000 euros on paper with a little under 11,000 in actuality), a letter on official letterhead from his employer saying he was employed and how much he made, and statements for my stocks and retirement account.
So in all, on the dollar side, it showed that he had over $40,000 with a stated income of $2300/week.
