US Vice President JD Vance says arrangements are being made for a potential in-person meeting between Russia's Vladimir Putin and Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a bid to end Russia's war with Ukraine.

It comes ahead of a meeting between U-S President Donald Trump and President Putin on Friday in Alaska.

The European Union and other allies of Ukraine have called for President Zelenskyy to also be included in the talks, and have called an emergency meeting later today.
