I call upon people that inspire me, as I scroll through both Instagram and life, I find them they hold a soft glow, they have the joie de vivre, this episode is not different. Truth be told, I never met Karim before, but when I tried V7 and know it was fully Home grown, i had to meet the man behind it... as you all know by now I carry so much passion for local talents.
So here it goes my talk with on of the founders of our very own home grown soda drink, that is actually good for you.
Hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

Dalia El Guindy has more than one facade, she is a wife, a mom, an educator, a theater actress and a singer.
I have known her for more than 20 years, and what stands out the most for me other than her kindness and purity is her perseverance and dedication that she puts into every aspect of what she does.
As always, I love discovering with you humans as we go through our deep conversations on JDV.talks.
And Dalia is a remarkable human.
Here we go restoring faith in humanity one human at a time.

Two of my favorite things, vintage fashion and Egyptology and when I found Dr. Colleen Darnel, I knew I hit jackpot. She embodies vintage and lives for Egyptology and agreed to come and embrace my pink couch talks :).
Dr. Colleen Darnell is an Egyptologist, author and educator, she also has a PhD in Egyptology from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Yale University in 2005.
Obviously, I didn't scratch the surface of her knowledge, but i was able to grasp some of her wisdom.
We talked about the beauty of Egypt, the wisdom and knowledge that is written on its walls and papyruses. We touched on AI and where it might take us.
We talked about femininity, balance, roots and legacy.
I left this conversation inspired and as always grateful to be rooted in such a mystic civilization (even if I have freckles and I don't look it :).
I truly hope this won't be the last of our cooperation, only the beginning.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Stay kind,
Love always.

I fell in love with Egypt from the day I left her, we truly don't know what we have until its gone, the question here is can we revive it, can we bring it back?
Some people say no, what gone is gone and it's very hard to recreate what we once were or had.
And here comes today's guest and the reason why he was invited for this talk. He is Ahmed Shaboury, a man with a mission to revive, protect and develop our heritage through his company Torasna,
It was a pleasure to have this talk with him and I hope it brings you as much joy and faith as it brought me.

We present you with a new thought, maybe it's not new at all, but it is definitely one that we all steer away from.
JDV has core values and one of them is togetherness, we believe in the power of the collective and what we can do together.
But on a more personal note, I think I met with Ahmed to give me personally a recipe or otherwise a guide to how to actually make it happen without conflict or trauma.
I hope this talk resonates with you as it did with me.
Stay kind always.

Do you know what makes two humans connect? it is safety, the safety of the words of " I sit here witnessing the unfolding of your humanness." Lamia Kamel was that exactly. She allowed me to see her fully and beautifully.
As we share our truth we allow others to share theirs, we show the way for a different narrative. We enable each other to change the story, to tell it the way we want to see it. I personally believe that this just might be our super power.
I am grateful for your presence.

In this episode we dive into the world of Wael Abed. Wael Abed is a remarkable soul, caught in the space in between. That space is very special this is when we sit and reflect and wonder on what was and what will be. In his mid-fifty after playing so many roles and flowing throw life guided by both passion and challenge, he comes to the JDV. talks couch to rest and reflect.
Going through words like purpose, balance and of course love, we both left heightened and inspired, may we leave you with a similar state.

Can someone change? or is it returning to one's true nature after we become aware of our own issues. I personally believe in the latter. Sitting with Ramez Youssef was very enlightening and heart opening.
We speak of creating the space for acceptance and vulnerability, we spoke of giving people the space to uncover who they truly are and to be encouraged to actually find their truth and their voice.
I loved every bit of this conversation and I hope you do too.
Moza I resonate with you and you left me inspired... may you find peace and purpose in all your adventures.

Power and focus are two very important things to have, they are the driving forces, can joie de vivre be obtained when this is the overpowering energy, I wondered.
Rowana gave me the answer, and through my talk with her I realized focus and drive can also be vulnerable, deep and mindful.
This conversation carries a lot of wisdom towards body shaming and judgment.
May you resonate listening as we did talk.
