An elegant tribute to CHADWICKBOSEMAN that leverages the fact that the center letter of his name, K, is coincidentally also the center of THEBLACKPANTHER. There are numerous references to that superlative MARVEL movie, we give it a 5 squares on the JAMCR scale. While it didn't take SUPERHUMANPOWER to write this crossword, it did take a HERO, that being author Jeremy Newton.

And, of course, it's Tip Tuesday, so be sure and tune in for all the details!

NEVERFEAR, Robyn Weintraub is here, with a nice Saturday crossword -- not too easy (you definitely couldn't do this HALFASLEEP), but not so hard as to render you WOEBEGONE. Jean had a spot of bother at a RAREBOOKSTORE, and Mike believes that all jokes should be in TOODTASTE, but both still rate it a perfect 5.0 on the JAMCR scale
