Jeff Cavanaugh - Trust the Tape

Your Dallas Cowboys news of the day is a three pack of things you need to know about.

Micah Parsons newest off field endeavor sure to drive some people nuts.

Mike Zimmer and the change he's making from how Dan Quinn did things.

The offensive line battles are going to be a lot of fun.

It will be the Dallas Cowboys travelling to Cleveland to take on the Browns in week one of the NFL season. Tyler Guyton's first matchup as a rookie will be against Myles Garrett.

We'll get the rest of the schedule tomorrow. In the meantime, hop in for a chat about why getting them early is good, and which matchups are the most fun to watch.

Come on in and let's do some Dallas Cowboys football talk. I've got questions from the internet and you can bring your own.

I'm gonna drive the Cooper Beebe hype train if anyone would like to jump on board. Plus my other favorite draft pick they made and some hope on what Mike Zimmer's defensive line can do this year.

Former Cowboys scout Bryan Broaddus joins Jeff Cavanaugh to talk all things Dallas Cowboys.

We spend a good amount of time on Mike Zimmer and the difference he can make for this Cowboys defense in 2024.

Plus expectations for Mazi Smith going in to year two and how he's dealt with some of his struggles AND scouting reports from around the league on potential Cowboy Zay Jones.

It's not often we have good news about a draft pick on May 4th, but in the case of the Dallas Cowboys first round pick Tyler Guyton (OT OU) we've already good something cool happening.

Come on in and let's talk Cowboys football.

Former Cowboys scout Bryan Broaddus joins me for his thoughts on the Dallas Cowboys 2024 draft class. Scouting reports on Tyler Guyton (OU OT), Marshawn Kneeland (WMU DE) and more.

Plus his thoughts on not selecting a running back and Ezekiel Elliott's return.

Ezekiel Elliott is a Dallas Cowboy again. Let's talk about how he fits with the committee of Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Hunter Luepke, Royce Free etc and what sort of gas he has left in the tank.

Plus let's compare and contrast the 2023 and 2024 rosters at this point. With the losses of Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz, Tony Pollard, Stephon Gilmore and other contributors, how have they done at replacing or upgrading those spots?

The Dallas Cowboys 2024 Draft class so far:

Tyler Guyton OT (OU)

Marshawn Kneeland DE (WMU)

Cooper Beebe OL (Kansas)

Marist Liufau LB (ND)

Let's grade the work they've done and look forward to day 3 of the NFL Draft.

Come on in and lets talk about the newest member of the Dallas Cowboys plus the trade they made.

Scouting report on Tyler Guyton, your new left tackle. Extra third round pick, yours to use tomorrow.

Happy draft day Cowboys Nation! I've got my final prediction for what happens tonight when the Dallas Cowboys get on the clock as well as a conversation about all the different possibilities.

You know what I love the most? The Cowboys don't really leak anymore. In the Jason Garrett days we knew a lot about what they wanted to do. In the McCarthy era your guess is as good as mine. So let's guess!
