Jeff Cavanaugh - Trust the Tape

Dak Prescott may be back way earlier than expected according to Jerry Jones. Plus the when and where for Jason Peters in the near future.

The Bucs beat the Cowboys 19-3, Dak Prescott and Jayron Kearse are hurt, Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones plans look like they were terrible plans. But let's talk about it.

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan, one of the best in the business has put out the thought that Cowboys 3rd round pick Jalen Tolbert maybe inactive against the Bucs with Simi Fehoko and Dennis Houston playing. Should you be mad, disappointed, sad etc? I'll lay out my thoughts.

Dak Prescott limited it practice with an ‘ankle’ situation. Yes, that ankle. Let me yell at my QB for a second. Plus Michael Gallup in pads, what it means.

Michael Gallup took part in individual practice today for the first time, we've got some clarity on Jourdan Lewis' availability for Sunday night and a 2nd year player to keep an eye on.

Plus my initial thoughts on Cowboys - Bucs matchup and what to watch for.

I just need you all to know this. Sean Payton with Kay Adams today was step one of the Mike McCarthy setup. Jerry Jones is loving it and I’m annoyed. Plus why he probably won’t be the next head coach anyway.

Jerry Jones was on The Fan today and a couple of things he said about Jason Peters and Michael Gallup have me interested.

Let's get a realistic timeline on Gallup, and when we will see Jason Peters on the field.

Starting at 9:00 is position groups I'm most interested in heading in to the season.

Please do not click this if you're looking for hardcore Cowboys content. This is literally just myself and my friend Dave Helman from Fox Sports talking about the Rings of Power show because we enjoy Tolkien stuff. Please don't hate me for using a platform I built on the Cowboys to do this either. LFG Galadriel.

The Cowboys did a good thing! I'm terrified of this offensive line but they've signed Jason Peters and that's going to make things at least a little better. Eventually. What it means for Tyler Smith and the rest of the guys.

Todd Archer is reporting that Jason Peters is going to visit the Dallas Cowboys to which we should all say, absolutely yes please. Plus some quick hits on Noah Brown, Jalen Tolbert and Cowboys WRs.
