Jeff Cavanaugh - Trust the Tape

Cowboys beat the undefeated panthers and the biggest reason we're viewing them as contenders these days is the COACHING. I'll explain.

Tons of credit for the win to lots of different players. Diggs, Gregory, Dak, Zeke, blocking etc but the total product has changed because of the coaches.

I say...... Micah Parsons is a full time defense end now.

Connor McGovern needs to play center.

Trevon Diggs is going to the Pro Bowl.

This is the best Dak Prescott has ever been.

What say you?

Get ready for a repeat of Micah Parsons playing on the EDGE tonight to try and gives the Eagles fits as a pass rusher.

Linebacker Jabril Cox will have opportunities to push for more playing time with Keanu Neal out.

Amari Cooper and his cracked ribs, how much will be affected by that?

Let me play devil's advocate on Mike McCarthy 'butchering' the clock management at the end of the game. I don't think he did.

Micah Parsons is doing some silly things that rookies shouldn't be capable of doing.

Jayron Kearse is making the push for the Cowboys to have a tough decision to make at safety.

Plus a mailbag!

The Cowboys beat the Chargers and a big reason for optimism is the Cowboys are better coached than they've been in quite some time.

I'll give you the examples.

First rounder Micah Parsons got his shine on, Terence Steele survived against Joey Bosa and Tony Pollard is pushing for more and more touches.

Full recap inside.

Let me draw you the blueprint on how I think Dan Quinn and the Cowboys defense can attack the LA Chargers offense this week.

Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs are the key.

Plus how the Cowboys offense with Terence Steele at RT stacks up against Joey Bosa and the Chargers defense, and how you win that matchup too.
