The Dallas Cowboys thumped the Las Vegas Raiders thanks to the continued monster play of George Pickens and the arrival of Quinnen Williams. Dak Prescott was great, the Pickens and CeeDee Lamb combo is becoming what it's supposed to be, and we got contributions from newcomer Logan Wilson and had the returns of DeMarvion Overshown and Shavon Revel (and a little Caelen Carson boost). Williams unlocked Kenny Clark, Osa Odighizuwa and enhanced what you get from Donovan Ezeiruaku and Jadeveon Clowney and made DaRon Bland and the rest of the DBs look better and give us some hope heading toward a game with the Philadelphia Eagles. It's Trust the Tape with Jeff Cavanaugh and Bryan Broaddus.
The Dallas Cowboys defense should look a lot different when they take the field against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night. How much better can they be with the additions of Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson AND the returns of DeMarvion Overshown and Shavon Revel? Will we sneak in some NFL Draft talk? Probably. Bryan Broaddus joins us for Trust the Tape. DISCLAIMER: Content involving the title starting around the 15 minute mark. This is an ADHD show and you probably know that. Scattered draft and Cowboys content.
The Dallas Cowboys made a HUGE trade at the deadline for DT Quinnen Williams from the NY Jets. Is this, along with Logan Wilson, DeMarvion Overshown and Shavon Revel enough for the Cowboys to have a decent defense? Is it too little, too late for this season? Plus any and all of your Cowboy questions on Trust The Tape.
The Dallas Cowboys have made a trade this morning with the Cincinnati Bengals in the aftermath of their loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Logan Wilson will be added to the Dallas linebacker room in exchange for a 7th round pick. Does he help and if so how much? Does it affect the Cowboys for more than this year? We've got a scouting report on Wilson plus reaction to the Cowboys loss to the Cardinals.
Let's take a look at any and all trade possibilities that exist for the Dallas Cowboys with the traded deadline approaching. Will Jerry Jones go get help for Matt Eberflus' defense? Is Maxx Crosby a pipe dream? What about help in the secondary or elsewhere on the defensive line? Plus we've gotta get ready for the Cowboys hosting the Arizona Cardinals. Can Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Javonte Williams put up however many points it'll take to beat Kyler Murray, Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride and the Cardinals? Can Kyler FINALLY lose a game at AT&T Stadium (he's 8-0 here).
The Dallas Cowboys have a horrendous defense. They should have a couple of guys on the way back (DeMarvion Overshown, Shavon Revel) in the next couple of weeks. Can they help turn this Matt Eberflus defense around? Plus a film review of the Cowboys @ Denver Broncos. How many of the issues are fixable, or is this thing doomed?
Trust the Tape with Bryan Broaddus will preview the Dallas Cowboys trying to get a win streak going as they head up to Denver to play the Broncos. Can the league's best offense keep it going against a good Broncos defense? Will Patrick Surtain follow either CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens? How will the Cowboys offensive tackles hold up against the best pass rush duo in the NFL in Nic Bonitto and Jonathan Cooper? Plus, DeMarvion Overshown and Cooper Beebe are on their way back (Shavon Revel at some point also). What sort of impact do we expect?
