I had a day off last week & decided to continue my "make up a podcast while recording it" trip I guess I'm on at the moment. I ended up at a coffee shop, then needed to find a mailbox & THEN decided to burn it all down & drive to a different Walmart than usual. So... how did it go? You'll have to listen to find out.

I enjoyed doing the previous episode without a plan and wanted to try a long one where I just turn on the microphone and see what happens. I have a fear of being a redundant bore, so this is how I faced that. What happens if you just keep talking? What will come out? Hmm...

I think I just had a lot on my mind and needed to talk.

This episode has a double purpose though. If you have trouble sleeping it might help! Yay! I enjoy doing these long, meandering solo episodes (maybe too much) so I may do this type of thing more. We'll see. Thanks!

I'm needing to take a break from the album I've been working on because there are a few too many other things vying for my time & attention at the moment. I was disappointed I wouldn't have anything to talk about on a new Making an Album episode but then I remembered that taking a break is PART of the process. So yeah. Ima set this thing aside for a little while & catch up on other things. Yay!

Oh, this episode is about that stuff. Meant to type that.

Thanks for listening!

Can you believe it? I've been working on my album so much I've forgotten to make a new episode talking *about* working on it in around 2 months! I do consider the interview I did with my friend Josh Irwin about songwriting a part of this series though, so listen to that one if you haven't had the chance to.

Today I wanted to do a quick update about where I'm at with the album. There honestly wasn't a whole lot to talk about. I'm in the tedious zone where it's a lot of boring, detail work and just trying to juggle recording with my regular work and life schedule, which is complicated. Oh yeah, I also got an awesome new acoustic guitar since the last episode, which I talk about. Yep.
