Jeff Powers is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music with a degree in Classical Guitar performance and have been teaching and performing in the Cleveland area for 20 years. I've been playing guitar since a very young age and have studied Rock, Classical, Blues, Jazz and Folk styles. Also, I'm a songwriter and have recorded 3 CD's of original music.   After many years of teaching in my studio, music schools and at Tri-C I decided to teach to the home. My motivation was fueled by an earlier experience when I was living and teaching in Mexico City. Since the city was so big and the traffic was beyond belief many students started asking me to come to their home.
